15K miles, steering feels light all of a sudden. Just me?

So I went for a ride in a friend's GTR and experience how great it cornered, and upon driving mine again, it just feels lighter than usual. I thought maybe it was just after being in the GTR, but when I 'slalom' with the steering wheel, it just seems like the car isn't responding so much to my steering as I remember it doing.

The car is going into the dealer for something else, but now I'm thinking I'll ask them to check this out too.

Anyone notice something similar or have any ideas what might be affecting it or experience something similar after X amount of miles? 100F affecting tire pressure? Power steering fluids?

What shape are your tires in? I know from first hand experience that handling deteriorates markedly with well worn tires.

Tires are fine. Had R888's on it for a while, so not all 15K are on these ones. I'd say maybe 9K.

My steering is a little light as well. I have about 12k miles on it with new tires. Mine is lowered, and I also get a vibration (jittering) in the steering wheel at higher speeds (+80 mph) when going over relatively small bumps.

The R8 specialist said it was bump steer, and that there was nothing he could do, but I am skeptical. I haven't driven any other R8's so I have nothing to compare with. Certainly if this was bump steer (which I have felt with my lowered 911s, others with lowered R8's would have complained here.

I was considering bringing it in to another Audi dealership or an independent that specializes in performance Audis.
