Try Rejex. Great for keeping exhaust tips clean.
thats why i chose the black package for mine, hides such dirt![]()
Current:
2011 R8 V10 Ibis White R-Tronic, Black Pack, Carbon sideblade, carbon sigma inlays, Carbon engine compartment, Carbon Fiber Mirrors
Previous
Golf R32 (2007 reg)
BMW M3 (2004 reg)
Cascade Copper TVR Tuscan S (2003 reg)
TVR Chimera (bright yellow!)
Also Alfa's & Fords
Most decent metal polishes work as well.
2009 Silver/Black V10 MT; De-Chromed; Carbon Fiber Exterior Package, Lighted CF Sills, CF Sideblades, CF Engine Trim, CF Steering Wheel, CF Mirrors, CF Door Handles and CF Interior Inlays; Enhanced Leather; Alcantara Headliner; Black Optic Grille; Meisterschaft GT Racing Titanium Exhaust; APR ECU Remap; Sprintbooster; H&R Lowered; Clear bra; and HRE P43s
I applied GTechniq C5 to the tips once and ever since then, the carbon buildup just wipes off with a cloth or pressure wash.
I had mine powder coated black on both V8 and V10.
2010 Ibis white/Audi exclusive leather w/Alcantera inserts. ~HRE M40's ~Quicksilver titanium exhaust ~Bunch of MaCarbon interior bits ~
I find with the tips separated from the actual exhaust system, build up is extremely minimal.
--- WARNING! Poster never takes anything seriously. No really, I mean it. ---

Simichrome, german made, works extremely well cleaning exhaust tips. If it's a large bother you can powder coat or purchase black tips.
