    Stuck Paddle shifter

My downshift paddle shifter just stuck yesterday. Has no movement in it at all. Car still drives fine and I can use the floor shift and the up shift on the wheel. Goes into the dealer wednesday for fix. Anyone else had this issue?

No, but I've read about it on here a couple of times so not unheard of.

Same problem here on the downshift paddle. Did your dealer find the cause?

    Re: Stuck Paddle shifter

Hi! It happened to me last winter but with the upshift paddle...the dealer said it was quite common problem on Audi's so they replaced it for free even if I was out of warranty...

    Re: Stuck Paddle shifter

Update, car went into dealer this morning, they just called me and said that the switch which has a button on it with a rubber bushing got twisted. They took it apart and it is now working fine. They said that it was probably caused by the paddle shifter extensions that I have added and that I should just be mindful of that when using and to depress in the middle of the paddle. Anyway, nothing broken and a quick fix, I am back in business!!
