When I make a full turn in reverse or forward, meaning steering wheel completely turned until its locked do you get a wheel rub feeling? I have a completely stock V8 and factory wheels and suspension.

It's not the wheel rubbing, it's the front suspension/tires binding a tad on the road. It's normal.

Think that feeling is compounded by the all wheel drive . . .

that's normal, but indeed feels a bit weird
goes away if u switch to 20inch and 245 in the front..happened to my R8V8 after that mod..it was gone![]()

Mods so far: full carbon fiber interior, incl. steering wheel, new Exhaust in the making, 20" Strasse-Forged rims on Conti-Tires, Ceramic Brakes all around, KW Variant 3 incl. modules, Carbon Front Lip, Side Skirts. rear Diffuser, rear Tail Light Cover, Side Mirrors, GT-Tail Lights, Air Box
Depending what you are feeling exactly. It may be that ambient temperatures dropped enough for your summer rubber, and instead of gripping as well as it did during summer, it now starts slipping a bit, and those may be the sounds you're hearing.
What are the ambient temperatures where you are at now?
I'm in socal which is high 70's outside but I'm 2 floors down in parking structure so it's a bit warmer maybe 80 degrees? So I'm guessing everyone has experienced this and it's normal, regardless of air temp correct?

could this have anything to do with the limited slip differential in the rear?

No, it has to do with the front end and ackerman (and possibly the front diff being limited slip).
Ackerman is the difference in the amount that the front wheels turn in relation to each other. The inner wheel (in a turn/corner) needs to pivot a higher amount due to the smaller turning radius than the outer wheel experiences. The difference of radius of the turn is the track width of the car.

My guess is that at full lock, the ackerman change is enough to make the wheel with the least amount of grip (inner wheel) to be forced loose from the ground - hence the funky front end feelings we experience.
