London servicing recommendation

hi there,

my first post here, just looking (rather far forward) ahead and wondering if anyone could recommend an audi dealership around London area for servicing a V10. West London/Finchley Road Audi are the nearest but if another was highly recommended would not mind travelling a bit.

i would recommend Audi Whetstone, done my servicing and were top..
they are within the same group as Finchley Road Audi but see have more experience with R8's

The wife and I have had our A4, S4 and Q7 serviced by Whetstone. I hope to get R8 in 2012 and they will get the servicing work for that as well. They seem more professional than Finchley Road both on servicing and sales.

Example - I was actually gong to buy the S4 as an ex-demo from Finchley road. Agreed to see car first thing on a Sunday and agreed to meet a friend there at the same time - friend came in his 360 Modena. By coincidence the salesman was coming to work in the S4 at the same time as my friend came in his Ferrari. Salesman picked a race with my friend and drove the S4 like a lunatic around North Circ. and Finchley Road. I get a call to tell me what's happening.

I walk in seconds after the salesman and my friend had arrived and asked the salesman to feel the brake discs with his hand as I was worried the discs were warped. No surprises he wouldn't put his hand anywhere near the discs as they were still red hot. His customer skills and negotiation skills turned out to be much worse than his road safety awareness.

I phoned Whetstone on the Monday. Did the deal in 20 minutes. Phoned Finchley Road on Tuesday to explain to DP why he'd lost a sale. Spoke to Parent Co. Head office about it on the Wednesday and picked the car up on the Friday - was told the salesman had lost his job on the Thursday.

I've had several audi's serviced at the west london monolith. The building itself is very impressive but I've been equally impressed with the mechanics there. I've had a few problems when getting tricky things sorted but they have endless patience and will make sure it is just right. So I'll be going there with my V10.
