A few niggles I need help with:

I love my R8 5.2 but there are a couple of issues I would like to improve on that I wanted help with:

1- is there a way to have the radio always start up in Presets instead of FM? It is a PITA to have to select presets every time I start up the car.

2- is there a way to have the MMI display start up in the Nav Map screen? Another PITA.

3- Is there a way to see the radio station info, artist and song info superimsed in a corner of the map display?

My basic procedure now on start up:

Inginiton start, enjoy the louder exhaust note!
Push FM, select presets, select NAV, select MAP.

Small nigles, I know, just trying to increase my enjoyment of the car!

I wish I could help, but I'd just love to echo #1!

I wish it would save my settings for media too, i.e. SHUFFLE by default instead of needing to press shuffle every time

On that note Goud, what year is your car? My 2011 comes up the same way I left it every time I get in the car when using my USB device. It remembers all of my settings, including shuffle, repeat, etc.

I listen to the radio to hear new songs

My car is MY2010.. I wonder if it's a setting using that computer they connect to the car or something? Have you ever tried SD card? That's what I'm using and I need to go into options and choose "MIX" every time.

A fellow Canadian! I agree, even the stock exhaust trumps the radio... I really only listen in traffic/rain!

What color side blades do you have on your car?

I'm in Toronto, my car has the oxygen silver blade... love the contrast

Interesting...mine is a 2011 and I have to reselect the shuffle setting every time I start the car. Wish that was not the case. Maybe it's a firmware update?
