    Tire Pressure Question...

    I just received my car yesterday and I am stoked.What a beautiful machine.My question is when I received the car the I checked the tire pressure when I got home: the fronts where 37 and rears where 35.Well I changed them to 45 front and 41 rears just like the sticker says.My question is why didn't the TPMS go off if the pressure was so low or do I need to set it myself again ,now that I added air?

    If you have a way to "reset" the computer to standardize the new tire pressures, I'd like to hear about it. Mine won't let me do that.

    I do know from lots of experience with the V10 that I don't get TPMS warnings until the pressure gets down to about 34 psi. Always happens driving home from the track, when the tires cool down enough.

    Although you raise a question about tire sensors, you should know that not all members of this forum agree with Audi listed recommendations for tire pressure of 45/41. See this earlier thread for discussion:
