    GT Owners...

I have a question that requires the response of a GT owner. I picked up my GT a week ago and when I opened the trunk I noticed that the tool kit was missing the tire compressor, jack, can of tire sealant, etc. Just about the only thing in their was a tow hook and a couple of other odds and ends. Could I get some GT feedback as to what came in your cars? Is it possible that the normal R8 items were omitted for weight savings? Seems like that would be pretty silly....Clearly from a financial sense their shouldn't be anything that the R8 has that isn't included in the GT. Thanks in advance.

Oh also for those interested I think the car is amazing. Handling, speed, etc. I am even getting accustomed to the transmission. I currently also have the 6 speed spyder that has the STaSIS challenge extreme package. Car #8...and it is a proper rocket.

Where are you located? It would help if you would put that in your profile. Someone on here may know people at your dealership that could answer your questions immediately. Will you track your car?

    Re: GT Owners...

That is what is in the GT "tool kit". My car only has the tow hook and lug nut cover plastic remover.

    As for the R-tronic transmission.

    1) Keep it in sport mode
    2) shift above 4000 RPM
    3) lift before shifting (put your left foot on the dead pedal and pretend it's the clutch)....that will get the timing just right so it's the smoothest
    4) if you shift with your foot in it there is a lurch as the throttle cuts back and then re-engages
    5) if you get lazy and decide to drive it in A, always drive it in sport mode
    6) if you track your car, the recommended tire pressures of 45/41 F/R are ridiculous (need 35 HOT front and rear)
    7) tracking the car is the best way to notice the difference between the GT and "stock" 5.2 V10

    Re: GT Owners...

Mine here in the UK has the full stock kit - jack, brace, tow hook, inflator with fluid, triangle etc. Seems odd the US cars don't have this??
