Front wheel hop and Driveline binding

    Hello,
I am very new to my 2008 Black on Black R8. I live in Washington state but bought it in Cali on Christmas Eve. Killer drive up 101
From the start I noticed a wicked front wheel bind while taking a sharp turn from a stop. It is the same as in my 4X4 when in 4WD. I do understand
that my R8 is AWD but one would think that this car would not wheel hop under these conditions.
I called 2 dealers. The one from which I bought the car told me that this is normal. Barrier in Seattle told me that it needs to come in for service.
The car is out of warrantee however the dealer gave me a 30 day warrantee.
I suspect that the cars behavior is normal but I was hoping some of you "in the know" would chime in.

    This is totally normal.

When you are going very slow (backing out of driveway or something like that), it does this. I hear from others they experience the same thing. Its due to the AWD.

    Thanks guys!!
I did search before I registered but with no luck. I figured the Lady at Barrier in Seattle was full of it!
Looking forward to learning much more about my car on here!
I am almost through the Owners Manual.
