1st year service

Well my 4.2 Spyder is now exactly a year old and has just over 5500 miles on the clock.

Looking at the service book it suggests that for less than 10K miles per year I should be getting an annual service, but no service lights have come up on the dash yet.

Before I call my dealer

a) should my car have flagged the service ?
b) does it rely on me reading the service manual to know when to service it ?

What will get done on the 1st year service ? just an oil/filter change ?

That aside, one year down the line and I'm still smitten !

He's in England, so likely the warranty offers and even service schedules are different from Audi USA Maintenance Schedules.
