Bought 2009 R8 with 4K miles CPO. Car drips little oil from the pan. Dealer told me not to worry, will be fixed and got CPO.
Still wonder if others had same problem and if/how it was fixed.
Anyone?

Mine seeps.a bit from the rear-most of the 3 plugs there on the bottom of the engine. I think the reason is that that plug is difficult to access using even the custom tool designed for it. So technicians tend to not tighten it fully for fear of stripping it it not being able to remove it next time.
I've changed my oll lots of times, and that plug is always pretty treacherous.
So I would say that if the oil is seeping from one of the plugs it does not indicate anything wrong with the engine.

A new oil pan is only 978.00 Don't ask me how I know. Taking the car to dealers for service was my undoing.Try to do stuff ourselves I always say.But we get spoiled by warranty covered stuff. And I fixed mine.Pass side drain plug, by adding an additional washer.
