I've attended several times. It's a great event with over 1,000 different cars, everything from exotics to jeeps. I think there were about 6 or 8 R8s last time I was there. I'm going to try to make it this Saturday.

i go there about 2-3 times a year. It starts a little too early (6-7am if u want parking spot ) and the drive is far for me. There's usually a good handful of r8's there.
Been a few times over the years but never really enjoyed standing around looking at cars. We used to have a good group of us that would go on spirited (but not crazy for all you "only safe place to drive fast is on the track" police) drives out on the country roads but not so much anymore.
Totally agree. Use to go to the cars shows but they are really boring. I rather go for a drive before the show and then stop by the show for a few minutes.

I haven't been yet, but my brother in law goes routinely. Located off of 249 and Louetta at The Vintage. He is always sending me some really nice pics of some cool cars, from classic all the way up to exotic. We recently started up Coffee and Cars here in Lubbock, but not near as big as the gathering in the bigger cities.
BTW, he mentioned that there may be a C & C event in Sugarland as well, for those that are located in SW/SE Houston. Can't verify that though.
