    they are painted on.

But you could get some stickers made up you just need to have the R8 Jpeg image you want and tell them the size .

I used Audi Q7 brakes(brembo) and painted them yellow on my 370z and got 4 red brembo stickers made up

I got a set of these at the moment, not put them on yet though got them from:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-R8-V8...item51a49c85f1

    Available in numerous colours

    Description
You are buying a set of 6 High Temp Brake Caliper Decals for your Audi R8 to restore the logos after refurbishment. Each set comes with full instructions and technical support.
These are DECALS i.e. the logos ONLY.

The standard colours are shown above - white on grey. If you prefer to choose another combination of two colours from the chart below, please let us know immediately after you have clicked Buy it Now by sending a message.

Each sets comprises 6 larger decals for front and rear calipers - this ensures extras incase of errors when applying.

    Hope that helps.

slammedR8 would it not have been easier to take the calipers off to paint?

Funny you say that because when I posted those same pics on the m6 forum 2 years ago I was asked the same thing.

No, it would not be easier for 2 reasons

    1) this was done at a body shop, not a mechanic shop where I would trust them to remove the calipers
    2) for a body shop to wrap the car is about as simple of a task as it gets since they wrap cars up like this all day long

Most resistant paint for calipers is G2
The logos sold on eBay are good quality and will not peel off (I have bought others from the same seller)

I see ones i've done I've removed them painted them with no pads, clips and hoses and then put in uprated pads and hi temp brake field.

I was tempted to get mine anodised but couldn't find a place just to do 4
