Body-color sidemarkers?

Has anyone found an economical source for clear sidemarkers for the R8? Since the Euro-spec R8 is ruined by the our safety folks' fascination with marring beautiful cars, there's not a readily-available OEM clear piece to swap out with ala BMW, Porsche, etc.

I remember seeing a white R8 that had white tape over the side markers--WEAK SAUCE. I am used to the sidemarkers now. Funny...Years ago the popular thing to do was ADD side markers to our 911s !!! And I did figure out how to fold the mirrors back with the knob forward. They can be folded up to a few miles per hour. C-YAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!!!!!! I'll keeps my peeps on the lookout.

Clearcorners seems to be the only thing going right now for truly clear markers.

The clear corners are completely custom made and priced accordingly - $400-600 per Pair, front/rear. Yikes!!!! That would take you a long way with the Euro bumpers.
