Body-color sidemarkers?

Those that ordered US-Spec R8s, have you found the yellow sidemarkers to be a bit "meh"? On my last car (also silver) I replaced them with body-colored sidemarkers. Any companies making these?

There's a shop in California that you can ship your side marker lights to, and they will cut off the old yellow lens and replace it with clear lenses. It would match a silver car very well. They will also upgrade it to LEDs if needed. But they aren't cheap. I had them do the LED conversion on my NSX side marker lights, and was very happy with the results. It took them a few weeks to do it and ship them back to me.

I forgot to update this... I contacted Rich @ OEMPL.US and they're ordering a pair of markers and painting them up for me. That should clear up the frontend for me

jUST YESTERDAY i NOTICED A PICTURE OF A WHITE r8 THAT HAD THE SIDE MARKERS PAINTED OVER IN WHITE hE SHOULDA' PURCHASED SOME eURO BUMPERS IF HE HAD BIG BUCKS TO WASTE.mY '08 R 8 is Jet-Blue U.S. version. Magnetic ride,A.T.Some C.F.= steering wheel,front and rear spoilers,Millteck exhaust,C.F. dash pod and interior panels.Cool back-up system. Still need to learn alot even no experience with Nav. system yet. Too bad the mirrors don't retract electronically.

I mean my mirros dont fold back by themselves with the touch of a button like my buddies Mercedes does.

If you rotate the mirror adjusting knob so that the indicator is pointing to the front of the car the mirrors should fold in (mine do)

Mine too. You have to be below a certain speed though.

I've only tried it when parked .... I guess that is slow enough
