i love the colour, never seen one in the uk that colour.

i think the r8 looks 1000 times better without the front license plate it looks so much more aggresive. its a shame we have to have it on by law in the uk otherwise cops just pull you for fun. are your side blades carbon fibre? how many cars do you have? are your r8 wheels done yet???:

Yeah buddy !! Thanks for the POSITIVE feedback ! Yeah the blades are carbon.I wish they were the new 10 cyl. style...maybe later.The wheels might be ready tomorrow.If they are ready you know what I'll be busy doing.I'll have to bag the wheels (COVER THEM) and do a good wash,clay-barring,and wax.Then I will be ready for show,fast and furious.I am hoping that the black chrome goes well with my color and all the carbon fibre peices I finally installed.I have'nt driven the R8 in a couple of weeks now and I am JONESING. (desperate).I do own a few other cool rides but the R 8 is tops. Now I must make a video commercial for my Insurance Business. My buddies are professional film makers. I am a very lucky dude. You must hear the Miltek exhaust with P.P.I. airfilters.Absolutely awesome musik !! I also put on the 10 m.m. spacers on all four corners.A VERY cost efficient upgrade.P.P.I. has them.NOW the tires fill the fenders better and handling feels even better!!We need to investigate whether installing a 305 rear tire helps or hurts the cars handling. Abit of extra work,but as you know ,well worth it ..so as not to look the same as another R 8 out there. You and I will never be embarassed when another identical car parks along side you !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cuz we are of a different breed. And any suggestions on what color I should paint my calipers???

you got to be individual we are on the same vibe harrison.
calipers it all depends, if your wheels are gona be black, id probz
go for a matt silver or red its a tough one its one of those things you got do it then see how it looks with your car. are they black at the moment or silver??
you need special heat resistant paint for them too...

The wheels just arrived on my door step.See gallery.The wheels are not black,not silver,kinda' grey. I think I lucked out real good with this color.Only one way to be certain...Put them back on .Which iIwill do right now...Emmediatly I mean. I will upload the wheel pic NOW. I was going to plate bright silver when the guys at Orange County European motors suggested/convinced,me to plate this style.Later I'll show you the track tyres and wheels I plan to get...which might look even more awesome than Black Chrome ,as this color is called in the shops around here.

I Would paint , but Semi-gloss like I did the front ducts.I will leave Blue as its easier to keep clean looking.The ARSE on my R8 has static cling or something 'cuz it is always very dusty.

not a huge fan of the wheels, but the car overall color scheme is quite unique!
