Lowered with 20'' wheels

I am New to the site but wanted to show off all my new upgrades and get reaction of other R8 owners, I know my car will not be to everyone’s taste but I love how it turned out, subtle changes but I think they all stand out.
Wheels are Trafficstar and 20” went with the 11” rear and a 305 section tyre with colour coded centres and it looks amazing, the company I used built them to how I wanted it to look and they also lowered the car on H&R springs and it drives and handles superb.
Just had it remapped and it now goes and looks brilliant, it’s now complete.
Look forward to any feedback good or bad.

Hi Guys thank you for the kind words about the car, it’s taken time and a bit of cash to get it looking how it does now... but must say I am well pleased, I was a little concerned at how it would drive and handle being lowered and fitting larger wheels but its spot on and It feels a lot better.... more pictures for you Harrison this is all I have at the moment....

What part of Europe do you call home? If you look at pics of my car you'll see some similarities in the front duct treatment. It really works killer on your white. Isn't it funny the V10 copied our ideas !! Nice looking SPACESHIP you have there !!!! Davey, he does'nt have ANY rubbing problems. People do more than this to their R8s and get away with it.I put 10mm spacers on all four corners and will lower and go wider tires soon...Then we'll see if there are any quirks.I dont mind rubbing on a tie bar or sway-bar---It is damaging the paint that is critical.Once the tire rubs the underside of a fender the paint gets HOT and bubbles OFF.I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE on other cars.The thing going for us is that the independant suspension allows the wheel to enter the fender well with an arc type movement, understand??

UK is home Harrison and your R8 looks trick and sits well.
It’s each to their own on styling and I know it’s not going to be to everyone’s taste ... but I am cool with that, no rubbing problems car drives like a dream... I wanted wide as I could on the rear but didn’t want no rubbing, the company that I used said they build 11” & 11.5” and up to 325 section tyres but I am well happy with how it looks.... for me the wheels make a ride.

Looks like the calipers just don't shine through.May I suggest painting the calipers High Gloss white.The calipers stay relatively clean and don't get very hot except at supersonic braking speeds. The calipers are powdercoated and can be cleaned with a solvent if you did not like the white look. Just do one side to see if you like it. I think white calipers would look stunning!! What else could I recommend?? I'll look for something!!
