Opinion on colour for my V10 Spyder

I might not be ordering on the 1st of Nov by the looks of it Got a little court business and I refuse to order it from the Audi closest to it because they screw things up Hopefully I can order ASAP tho

Personally, I'm very happy with Sepang, and I think it would look good on a Spyder but with a light interior.

I saw a red Spyder in the flesh at the grand opening of the new Audi showroom in Chiswick last week. I don't like soft tops, but this car looked good !!!

Good morning all,

Just back from the States, very few Audi enthusiasts are aware of the Spyder over there, as per my letter from Audi UK in Sept i am today going in to spec up the Spyder, cant make my mind up on the colour though, i am torn between Sepang or Jet, i am also going to look at the other special colours i can spec, opting for the manual with standard breaks but thinking of the carbon mirrors, although i may leave this until after i take delivery as i note from this forum i can buy much cheaper from elsewere.

Leather, on the German audi site a standard colour is silver, so if i can have it i will opt for this, if not then either special order blue or standard cream, the dealer tells me delivery should be April sometime.

Wheels, stil not sure about the V10 Wheel design, may go for the older design again but in a dark colour, does anyone know of a good web site for non standard wheels as an option i could fit from new and keep the standard wheels for when i sell on?

Will let you know what i choose and more info when i have been in

After seeing so many RED F430s around towne , I wish my R8 was RED too. A red spyder with the brown top and matching brown upholstery would be my choice.

Well, went into the dealership yesterday to spec up my Spyder,


unfortunately Audi UK have not as yet sent out the extras price list
to the dealerships due to some printing errors! just spoken to Audi UK head office who informed me that the dealerships should get the price lists and selection kits later this week so i will just have to wait, they also confirmed that dealerships cant actually place the order specs with Audi until the 11th of November in any case so i guess i am not at risk of any delays from this!

I also learned that the £1000 initial deposit will need topping up to £15k

I did manage to see an R8 in Sepang blue, its a lovely colour but a liitle bling & showoffee! mmhh, choices...................

We originally went for the Red V10 but changed to Sepang Blue so this time we're 100% getting Red for the Spyder

£15k deposit, £5k more than we gave for the V10 so sounds good to me

I think grey is the best selection...this is preffered by many peoples..so you can go with it
