hey guys, just wondering if anyone would be interested in attaining brighter LED DRL in their headlights. I may be able to upgrade the current LED's to something atleast twice as bright

If you can manage the heat of twice as bright you may have some interest. Be aware that DOT can restrict how bright headlights can be on a vehicle. The LUMILEDS LEDs are being used on the 2010 R8's. I work with these people. They tell me there is nothing brighter with the efficient cooling requirements with long-term testing completed.

Hasn't Audi made the Leds smaller and less bright than the older LEDs? Safety Issue? I saw the V10 LEDs lit up yesterday and they are definitely weaker. Parked my R 8 in front of the Porsche dealer and a little kid ran out of showroom and took a pic of my R8, and not one my buddies Gallardo parked next to mine. Yesterday was a fun cruise day where we cruised up to the Audi, Porsche, and Mercedes and Jag dealers, all next door to each other .(Colorado Bl. Pasadena, Ca.).The New Porsche Four door tough.The Turbo even tougher.

Pm'd, there are definitely ways of cooling the lights off

It's the Led strip light I'm referring to. A model/year change/upgrade/(downgrade?).

The V10 strip has smaller leds but more of them.

A solid BRIGHT neon is the look aimed at.

Think you'll find that the LED's are not replaceable.
In fact if one goes the whole headlight unit has to be trashed.
