Changing side blades

I have a black R8 V8 with carbon fiber side blades because that's how the dealer got it. I like the look but I also think I would like it with Oxygen Silver side blades. Does anyone have experience exchanging side blades or having two sets for, say, different seasons?

I have purchased an extra pair of side blades from a friend and spray painted it to Phantom black. I kept my original ice silver side blades as spare for future change of color. This way, I can simply swap the blades anytime. Then again, very unlikely I will change color.
