how to remove quattro logo from front grill

Actually this was my very first mod.(way back when)...But I borrowed a black marker at a freinds house and blackened it in...just to be cool 'till my PPI grill arrived.Lucky for you ,I have an Extra grill that I am modifying. If you want to remove the Quattro badge (which you don't want to do...First remove front bumper,then you can access the rear of grill.Actually you can just pry the chrome piece away with a screwdriver.You will ruin things EITHER way.The chrome will be off but you will still have an unsightly plastic protrusion. Having QUATTRO drive is the best dang thing about the drivetrain/car !!!!!!!!!! IMO just put some black tape over it till you come to your senses and realise it's not such a bad badge.just in the wrong placement I suppose. It took me years to finally realise this. I will probably re-apply the emblem somewhere else on the car!!! I even put the rings back on the back of the car (smaller size) so the people will know what is the superior car...And so little 'ol ladies in bikinis at the beach don't have to ask me what kind of car it is.This ACTUALLY happened. \"/

I don't understand why you would want to remove it, just leave it as the factory intended please.

The entire quattro emblem can be removed, but there is a blank hole where it was. Doesn't look good, IMHO.

Or, you could wait till HARRISON finishes modifying his. No chrome/black crossbars, just mesh is the plan, I think? HARRY?

actually i have new logo to install on the same place.
Dealler said it's easy withot removing front grill but how u do not know

Just use a small screw driver to pry it off. It is only1/8 inchthick and has two tabs behind it. It pops off very easily.And yes I plan on having a big sheet of mesh like the other nice Audi grills I have seen. What does Saudi plan on replacing QUATTRO emblem with???? Replacing is a much better idea than eliminating.
