CF Seat Bases Arrived

Below are some pictures of my CF seat bases. Plan to fit them myself next week, doesn't LOOK too hard but you never know with Audi interiors...

I'm curious about one thing. I saw your car with the CF roof in the Alps trip pictures. The picture was taken from a distance, and I thought it looked fine. How happy are you with the CF-look wrap? Does it fool most of the people most of the time? And how has the durability been? Bottom line, would you do it again? If so, any changes in coverage? Thanks!

The durabilty is fine, very easy to clean etc. It's not done to fool though as I went with the semi matt, I just wanted it to be unique(ish). In reality it is tough to do with a wrap as the roof is a double compound shape and has to be fully stretched to fit without wrinkles. The downside is this stretches the pattern a little. I like it, it sort of gives it a handbuilt look, others, not so much. If it was a real cf roof, they'd have the same problem because of the double compound shape, you'll see most carboned roof cars are single compound so it's a doddle then..

Great mate, showed the wife the trunk and she said 'you'll need to do the trunk light now' ;-)

Ordered the PPI wheel and installed the MA Carbon paddles today, feel fantastic and the wife called them 'batman's ears' ;-)
