Gonna take the rear window slats and spoiler off of my 70 BOSS and bolt them on the R8...I see the hood from my 67 Shelby 350 also has a new home. Either Ford Motor was way ahead of their time or PPI thinks you have no memory left from all of your 70's vices...

R8 PPI Razor GTR-10
GREAT CAR!!!
Weight decrease of 250kg!!!!!!!
the car was redesigned with full widebody kit.
The height of the car is adjustable through KW Automotive coilovers featuring a hydraulic lift system which can increase ground by up to 45 mm if needed.
The factory front bumper was replaced with PPI Razor GTR-10 bumper featuring larger inlets.
PPI were able to reduce the overall weight of the R8 even with the body kit by using carbon fiber material.
Just like the front, the rear bumper is a full replacement piece featuring much more aggressive vent designs and diffusers
The interior was upgraded with Onyx Nubuck-leather with Metallic-coloured accents and highlights per clients request.
And the heart of this tuner car is the V10 powerplant tuned to produce 601 hp at 7,400 RPM and a max TQ of 565NM at 6,400 RPM.
http://www.gtspirit.com/2010/09/20/o...mited-edition/Unveiled at Top Marques Monaco this year the PPI Razor GTR-10 Limited edition is the latest project from PPI Automotive Design. The improvements are two sided, on one hand optimising the power-to-weight ratio of the Audi R8 while simultaneously strengthening the motor, increasing performance, improving handling dynamics, and managing to reduce the weight of the Audi R8 and secondly improving the looks of the vehicle inside as well as the outside.
The result is a normally aspirated V10 engine with over 601hp (448kW) at 7,400rpm, and a maximum torque of 565Nm at 6,400rpm at its disposal. Couple the power increase with a weight decrease of 250kg over its serial counterpart (serial curb weight V10 R-tronic: 1,625kg). The end result is the ability to achieve speeds from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in a mere 3.2 seconds (with modified R-tronic Gearbox) and a maximum top speed of 335km/h.
On the aerodynamic side of the story PPI offers a kit reducing the weight of the car by using loads of carbon fiber. The body kit includes a new front bumper replaces the serial bumper, larger air inlets in connection with a new incorporated LED day-running unit, sideskirts with inlets aiding much needed cooling to the engine oil coolers and rear brake system. Like the rest of the supercar the roof pillars and doors are draped in carbon fiber as well.
The carbon fiber rear wing has an adjustable gurney-flap. The motor cover is made of carbon fiber and incorporates glass made of the light polycarbonate material Makrolon. The engine lid also has specially designed carbon fiber ram-charged air inlets. Aiding in the engine cooling, are the newly designed side blades, rear fenders and rear bumper that all allow for additional motor bay and exhaust cooling that, in conjunction with the carbon fiber rear diffuser, optimises the airflow over and through the rear portion.
The GTR-10 utilizes lightweight MAG11 Forged Aluminium PPI wheels. At the front, 9Jx19 MAG11 wheels weighing 10.0kg with 245/35 ZR 19 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres are fitted and a 12.0J x 20 MAG11 wheels weighing 10.9kg with 325/25 ZR 20 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres are used at the rear. PPI has also developed a special high-performance braking system available for the Razor GTR-10 that can be identified by its metallic orange-coloured brake callipers.
The height of the car is adjusted with KW Automotive springs and an hydraulic lift system for the front axle, which can increase ground clearance by up to 45 millimetres if needed.
The interior got an upgrade as well. The serial interior is replaced by Onyx Nubuck-leather with Metallic-coloured accents and highlights per clients request. PPI equips the limited edition with carbon fiber throughout the ****pit; hand-brake lever, door sill protectors, driver and radio console surround, door trims, center console inserts, and kneepad trims. The ultra-light folding sport seats are also made of carbon fiber and bear the PPI “Sport Identity” style, which is present in the headliner, the steering wheel, shift knob, door panels and center console. The technical highlight of the interior is the ergonomically re-designed PPI sport steering wheel with steering wheel-mounted carbon fiber shift paddles (R-tronic only).
Additionally there are the Razor GTR-10 badging, threshold plates, and an aluminium production plaque framed by carbon fiber.

Welcome to R8Talk.com. Please be sure to read the FAQ: Audi R8 Introduction and Road Map to R8Talk.com!

Looks interesting, in some aspects spectacular, in some aspects a bit less so.
To me personally the front looks like a Nissan GTR transplanted to an R8, made in CF. eww.
I can see misalignment of the new body CF parts especially in the rear. I guess its pretty hard to get all these new and custom CF parts to align perfectly.
I think a toned down version, that still looks like an R8, of this would appeal to many. I know I would be interested in a few parts.
The front bottom looks like the is made for cleaning the roads from garbage and dead animals. Way too low and way too excessive to be practical. Then again, this isn't made with practicality in mind.
What are the insane costs?
I agree about the front on the PPI R8 looking rather hideous. But with the front spoiler and ride height, you should maybe remember that this is a "GTR" designed car. That means a top of the line track car, that is also barely street legal. To me personally the front looks like a Nissan GTR transplanted to an R8
Personally, I prefer this front from Audi Sports with this type front spoiler. More effective and looks MUCH better and MUCH easier to repair or replace.

... found a newer video on this great PPI R8

Hmmm seats look good. But I've ended up going down the same route as Bodhii, Recaro Pole Positions! Got my parts from Speedware Motorsports.
Will start hacking away on a solution soon!

800 HP from the 4.2 engine!!!!????
I know for sure that the VF/STaSiS supercharger is rock solid. and 100% reliable. But for this new PPI 800 HP version, maybe I would require a warranty!
google translation:Tuner PPI is a master at cultivating the Audi R8. Just look at the PPI Razor, Razor the GTR. Now they have developed a supercharger which one 800 horsepower from 4.2 liters V8 in the Audi R8 is, knows how to get.
For four years it has been developing in the dark spaces of PPI to sit on this product. It has ensured that the supercharger is not close to the engine so that no warm air from the engine into the supercharger can get. The supercharger is on the side of the engine.
If you opt for the supercharger of PPI you can also right for a big body kit for the Audi R8 shopping. So you can build up to an R8 PPI Razor GTR-800. They will then adapt to the engine for a better compression ratio and a stronger resistance of the first and second gear. This allows more fine power released during acceleration.
It also adjusts the ECU and make sure that the right fuel mixture in the engine so that it performs better get with the supercharger supercharger.Deze would also have its own cooling, so it does not depend on the engine cooling.
Then the numbers a little in a row. Acceleration from standstill to 100 km / h is done in 2.9 seconds. The 800 hp Audi R8 now has a torque of 860 Nm. There you can take quite some paving stones from the ground ride. The top speed is 350 km / h. This may even further increase the use of various aerodynamic modifications provide for the PPI R8. As the price of this system we do not know. If you are interested you can have it fixed by PPI request.
