Wrapping front hood

Looking to wrap the front hood, like the ABT GTR. Friend of mine told me that after taking the wrap off, the paint stains a yellowish color on the hood (white car) and does not polish out. Anyone experience this or know a good materiel that doesn't do that? ( Not looking to paint ).

While I don't know about the wrap materials, perhaps a really high quality sealer applied to the paint beforehand would prevent the adhesive from discoloring the paint?

I suggest you speak to a vinyl wrapping company and get their opinion on it as they do it all the time.
