Anyone know where I can buy this grill?
"There are old men and there are bold men, but there are very few bold old men."
That's a regular old V8 grill w/o the plate mount.
Available at your local Audi dealership or OEMplus or Europrice.
You must remove the front bumper facia to put this in. There's a recent thread on this.

I have a V10 Spyder so I wonder if the grills are interchangeable? Or, would it be easier just to get my chrome grill painted black?

Yes, the grills are completely interchangeable. I can't recall the differences between the V10 and V8 grills, though.
wrapping is probably easier than painting, though.

Don't have an answer there - ask Rich @ OEMplus

I looked into wrapping mine. The local installer wasn't willing to try it. Too many tiny cuts so he thought it wouldn't last long or might look bad.
Painting is an option, but to get it stripped and done properly I would probably have to send it to OEMplus. This would cost about the same as a new grille.
I'd prefer a V10 style grille as the larger openings would accomidate a radar detector easier and they match the side grilles a little better. The V8 style was the only black grille available when I last looked in the fall. I think a black V10 grille may be available now.
the V8 grill has a bigger airflow as it more open .....specially in the upper section

I saw your pic in the other thread. Do you think the extra cutout improves cooling?
