Thinking about painting the blade Piano black to break up the gray?
Of course the c.f. blades would be my first option, but..... I probably wouldn't spend the money on the upgrade if they hadn't come on the car from the factory.
Having said that, I vote yes on painting them. Better yet, why not do a wrap incase you don't like it/or if you ever want to go back to your oem color...

I thought the Phantom black and Lava Grey was a great combo. The grey looked fantastic in the company of the black. I can imagine it wil be the same the other way round as well. Go for it!
To all the wrap suggestions. After looking into the cost of removing and re-installing the blades, and then the wrap itself, I would rather have the beauty of the paint for an extra $175. I understand it would be much more expensive to change later, but my thought is I will not.
Would look great with either cf or piano black (paint/wrap) to my eyes - really like the r8 in that colour, but would benefit from being broken up with a contrasting blade.

Carbon fiber blades would definitely look great. Very glossy and well done piano black would look very good as well.
