Front license plate holder height adjustment

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the front license plate holder (Euro plate) can be adjusted up or down in height without heavy modifications. I'd like to put it around half 3/4 of an inch higher (~2cm).

I can't verify this myself before I get the whole thing unmounted, I'd prefer to do the mods I need in one go.

The USA grill & plate holder is all a single-piece molding. I suspect the Euro plate grill is similar.

Actually it appears as though mine is screwed or otherwise connected to the grill, but not molded together with it. I might be mistaken though.

Would very much appreciate to know.
