ADV07 Track Spec....agonizingly close!

Just got these pics from ADV (via the vendor), and they are now on their way! They messed up my order and the spokes are now high-gloss rather than matte, but being the glass-is-half-full kind of guy that I am, I'm trying to like them and not make a huge stink over it. I guess they look okay the way they are, but will have to wait to see them in person (hopefully next week) before making final judgment.

Will put them on a scale before mounting rubber on them and report back on their actual weights, so watch this space. Oh, and they're 20" x 9" in front, and 20" x 12" in the rear, in case anyone's interested.

Well, I try to abide by the adage that sometimes in life, not getting what you want can be the best thing to happen to you. LOL

And besides, I think they look quite good like this, and in the end, I don't have to do anything until I see them in person anyway. So it's all cool...

They look amazing in Brushed Gunmetal (Glossy) when the light hits them, they pop and looks incredible.. This may end up being a good mistake.

Yeah, now that's the kind of attitude I like. In fact, even in the photos I posted, you can see how the colour of the spokes look slightly different depending on the angle at which the lights hit them. Maybe it'll all turn out okay. If I add it all up, that's about $10,000 worth of wheels there (with little extras I opted for), so it'd better turn out okay. LOL

Apparently they do. I've seen quite a few R8s with plus-size aftermarket wheels in those widths....lowered, even.

You can run 9's and 12's all day long. Offset is key though. Proper spec tire is 245/30/20 and 325/25/20 when doing the 9&12 combo. You can really lower the car and not have any issues as well.
