Wrapping a V10 possible?

Hi Guys

I know wraps are standard nowadays, but thinking about the V10 bumper with the blacked out center. Is this possible to wrap as their will be no where for the person wrapping the car to tuck the vinyl into as the color change just runs directly accross. Me and my friend cant see how they would do it, maybe some of you guys know? As I dont want to wrap my car to find it will start pealing off quite quickly.

Wow... haven't seen that Pearl Orange (Arancio Borealis?) on a R8 before. I love it! It's very bold, but also very exotic. Same color as my old Lambo Superleggera, a stunning color in person.

Yeah man I couldnt agree more. I saw a orange gallardo in the showroom other week and it was simply stunning. Been thinking about an orange wrap for ages and think now is the time! The contrast with the carbon fibre exterior bits will look insane.

Totally Dynamic are your best bet, one of the guys from their london branch came up to the Norwich HQ to do mine.

I have had many people comment on how professional the wrap job on mine is compared to a local Gallardo for example which they say doesnt look nearly as good as it was done by another firm.

I'm sure they will have no problems with the glossy area around the rear plate.

It's funny, but my first car was an orange 72' Camaro with an anemic 307 2barrel carb. I was nothing but embarassed of the color.

That orange on the R8 with black accents looks absolutely stunning. Great choice.

I've never seen a wrap in person (other than on commercial vehicles) so I have questions which I hope some of you can answer: Is a matte finish wrap weird to touch or does it feel like matte paint? For that matter, does the glossy vinyl feel like glossy paint? Does either finish scratch the way clear coat scratches with swirls and spiderwebs? Do you wash and dry and wax it the same as paint or what? Lastly, if an experienced shop does a high quality job, will there still be noticeable imperfections or will it look like a quality paint job?
