How did one acquire those? Were they a bespoke job or available generally?

I found them on ebay mate, the guy got them from Audi as someone who ordered a spyder new had custom wheels put on it right away. He then just sprayed them black. There are a few used sets available on ebay.de for around the £2000 mark

I really like the look. I'm having a set powder coated in satin black and should have them back by next week.

I'm surprised yours are just spray painted. Hopefully the previous owner used a paint an process that will hold up.

Thanks man, when I put sprayed I didnt mean actually sprayed. They where done using the proper process, I should have put had them refinished in black! Have to post some pics up mate when you have it done will be eager to see!

Now you can paint your calipers a different colour to really make them pop. Maybe even in the same jet blue as your car.

I agree about calipers, but im feeling red, as it will standout more? And regarding the lamborghini one day, still young need to make some smart investments before I move into the lambo / ferrari world, maintenance costs scare me too much :P
