Last month, Leaving the Az.Car Nut car show with R84ME, I discovered a long, very noticeable hairline crack. It was only 8 deg. Fahrenhite !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestio ns on what should happen and with who, and in what department at PPI??? Remember this could happen to you too, and If I had had a bazooka handy I would have levelled some Saguaros cactus trees. (Less for Kfab to hit). A happy camper I am NOT. The wheel has only been on since 4-'08. and has never been abused. As Herman Munster, (rest his big soul) would say and do... DARN... DARN...DARN...DARN...DARN... (stomping both feet causing a SUNAMI !) If it 'aint one thing it's another.

First thoughts was Oh god someones hit his car,
his R8 has been stolen,
his R8 caught fire
and so on

Strange to see carbon fibre crack like that must have had too much stress.

I thought they made a better quality product than that or could it have been 2 Arizona summers.

Mail over to me and I will personally dump it on their counter when I am in Germany in 3 weeks.

It happened this AZ. WINTER. And if I had money to BURN I would continue doing buizz whith PPI.Who knows maybe I'll finally get some resolve from them...someday...

Harison PPI just outsource their carbon work. I know the contact details for the company they outsource to if you want the work done for a way cheaper price.

Yeah marks hit the nail on the head. A lot of companies just design the item different companies build it.

why wouldn't they get back to you? I don't understand surely Its faulty or not built right. You could even go to the extent of saying its dangerous product I mean a steering wheel is an major piece of a cars control system.

Have same wheel and now going to boycott future PPI purchases till you get resolution....well that and because their stuff is crazy expensive

Rodger that. Desparado might have spoken to a PPI rep at their track day this weekend. Have my fingers crossed. Even with the flaw the wheel is waay nicer than a stocker.
