Could have gotten away with it for most people maybe if the 10 wasn't so suspicious.

I don't think theres anything grong with the fact that you got the V10 bumper and exhaust tips.
However, I DO think there is something wrong with putting a V10 badge on a V8 car. Thats a no, no!
I am impressed that you didn't go as far as putting the V10 stickers on the front fenders as well.

LOL i have done the same thing. But if people ask I say its a V8. I just think the V10 looks that bit better!
