The old saying that you can never be too rich or too slim has the corollary for car guys and that would be "You can never have too much power" but I tend to agree with CALBenzo: You can have too much power when driven on the streets in the hands of someone without a lot of experience. Even with a lot of experience, supercars nowadays are stupid fast and can rarely use a small portion of their power. I've read on the Ferrari forum many people questioning the wisdom of Ferrari making the 458 as fast as they've made it and opining that it is too fast, so if Ferraristi are suggesting this, I give that argument a lot of weight. I'd hate to think that any moment my car could bite me in the a$$ and threaten to kill me so I'm quite content with how fast the V10 is already.
