    LED Lights for engine area

Has anyone seen the blue LED lights in the engine area which can be switched out for the generic white ones (stock)? ...and more importantly does anyone know how to keep them lit while driving ? I saw this effect in a recent movie; very cool.

This HAS been brought up. Most will agree that leaving the engine bay lit up looks nice but driving at night with them on is a nightmare of glare. A dab of tint can be applied over the two LED assemblies.

Switching on the overhead light should also switch on the LED engine light. Is automatically shut down after 10 minutes.
At night the LED light doesn't glare me

On my U.S. car, it is not possible to drive with those LEDs on.

    Same with above. MY 2009.

To be honest, I'm not even sure if the LED lights are bright enough to make a difference for others looking at the engine bay on the road at night. Then again, have never had a chance to look while on the road.

NVRL8R8, all our engine bay LED lights turn on when we turn on the reading light in the cabin. The question is do yours STAY On after keeping those lights on for more than 10 minutes. If they stay on then there might be a way to program them on cars that turn off after 10 minutes. If they turn off as well after 10 minutes then i guess there is no hope in programing them to stay on.
