    Hofele Spoiler

Guys did most of you who have this just glue it on using the glue supplied with the spoiler or did you also screw it into the stock spoiler? Dont want the thing to fly off the car :-)

    Re: Hofele Spoiler

Have had mine on for just about a year now and just glue. Has been tested at speeds over 160mph, hot weather and no problems. Read a post recently about what a tough time someone here had removing one that was glued on and ended up ruining the lip to get off

    Re: Hofele Spoiler

Used the glue supplied and was more than enough. I'm sure the trick is seating it correctly and clamping. Stock spoiler comes off in seconds with just 4 bolts.

No need to have screwed it. Even Hofele doesn't recommend that.

Did you have to remove the clearcoat with abrasive or some similar process or just apply glue and directly clamp?
