LED on bottom of Taillight

Can we light up those LED on bottom of Taillight?

Please put your location as different markets have different specs.

If you are talking about the LED full strip across the bottom of the tail light,here they work as a full orange indicator strip.

If your car is a North American model, no. The lower strip of amber LED's (turn signal) does not activate, nor can it be made to do so.

The North American tail lights do not even have the amber turn signal LEDs inside the housing from what I am aware... You can change your tails to Euro (V8, V10 or GT) units and get them turned on though.

Couldn't remember if they had them or not, but was thinking it was an inactive bank - I've always had the Euro tail lights.

We haven't pulled one apart yet, but I think that strip is empty for NAR cars...

I'll try to remember to take a look later today. I have a set of NAR lights sitting in my collection of R8 stuff.

It'll be hard to tell if the turn signal LEDs are actually in there, without likely causing irreparable damage to the housing.
