I wanted to share a bit of the development process and thoughts behind my PFD Carbonworks Audi R8 Carbon Fiber Aerodynamic package.

The goal with all my products is for them to look like natural yet more aggressive design components that come from a factory performance division. Nothing over the top, just professional design, quality product and great service.

The R8 parts do nothing for me but I really like the coffee table.

Just an update for everyone. I just confirmed the test fit fiberglass parts off the production tools today; 7/11/11.

As a note; the owners of donated development/photo shoot car, disclaimer, I do not own an R8, were very excited to see the proportions on the car, even in the raw yellow fiberglass, and commented that "the parts are integral to the design of the car and will look awesome in carbon fiber"!

Thus I have kicked off the PFD Carbonworks Audi R8 Carbon Fiber PrePreg production parts and clear coat finishing solution.

The first set of R8 Carbon Fiber SN#11-001 production parts will go on the development/photo shoot car next week. The first two sets of paid parts are shipping next week to two early customers in the Bay Area and Orange County.

As soon as the development/photo shoot car has its parts I will post some raw shots here and in the PFD Carbonworks News section and then the final shots on the main PFD Carbonworks R8 page.
