cup holders

can any body help? iam looking for a blanking cover to go over the cup holders
in my r8 v8.
i have a manual car a find the holes uncomfortable,if any ones as come across a plastic or even carbon infill as i have a carbon interior,i would like to hear.
the so call smokes pack does not realy do it for me,it would be good to hear back.

I haven't heard of anything like this for the R8.

Get a couple of the spyder ashtray's and inserts?

malc, get a carbon fiber cover custom made for it. Imagine something that looks like half a sleeve that just goes over the entire area and fits with a tiny bit of pressure... would look great and do the job. Shouldn't cost much at all.

I over came the small problem of what to do with audi's ideal of putting cup Holders in that location, where i felt it could be blanked off with a piece of carbon fibre.
Just had to trim a couple of pieces of polystyrene to fit in the void ,made sure that the finished height was kept down by the thickness of, in my case 2mm ready to let the trimmed panel in to end up just in between the top of the cup holder and the center consol
Now all is good
will post pics after week end.
