R8 Spyder rear diffuser on a coupe?

I was wondering if anyone out there would know whether the rear diffuser from the R8 Spyder would fit on an R8 coupe. Just eyeballing it, it looks like it should fit, as the bumper is the same (with the exception of the exhaust cutout, but that's not an issue) and the diffuser just follows the same contour.

I quite like the look of the Spyder's diffuser, which is much nicer than the one from the coupe. Hoping someone could shed some light on whether it'd fit.

According to ETKA it seems to be the same piece for the R8 and R8 Spyder ie there is not a specific Spyder rear diffuser.

the v10 and v8 diffusers are different though - and it's a v8 in his sig and a v10 spyder in the pic.

the shape of the diffuser (and hence bodywork area to accommodate it) is different between the v8 and v10, so I can't see how it would fit.

I figured sebring knew the V8/V10 rear diffuser difference and so I didn't mention it but for the sake of completeness I agree it would have been best.

What I have been able to determine from the following pictures now compared to Sebrings original question is that he wanted a V10 coupe or V10 spyder rear diffuser which are the same as each other but differ to the V8 coupe and V10 spyder rear diffuser

that v8 spyder diffuser pic certainly isn't the same as the v10 - looks very similar to the v8 coupe.

Yes that is what I was implying, post edited a dozen times as I reviewed the pictures on google image search

Okay, so Randombloke and FiftyPence were both right. The diffusers are the same for both V10 models and the same for both V8 models. But interestingly, they all share the same contours where they abut with the bumpers. The real difference is in the length of the tabs which allow the diffuser to join with the bumper, which means this particular mod is a no go for me, as the only way to do this is to change the entire rear bumper, necessitating a change to the V10 oval exhaust tips.

Thanks to my dealership for letting me play around with the V10 diffuser piece they just happened to have on hand.

So are you saying that diffusers on V10 coupe and V10 spyder are different?

No, they are the same for both V10 models (coupe and Spyder).
