R8 GT front bumper Fins

Hi guys,

I am trying to get my front bumper plastic foiled so it won't get chipped on the track.

Does anyone know whether the CF fins on front bumper are removable? That way I can do a much tidier job.

Everything on the car is removable! Actually, having neither the GT nor the correct ELSAWIN updates for the GT, I couldn't tell you for sure. However, I would venture to say that they are mounted in two ways, either double sided tape or snap-fit (my guess) onto the front bumper. Both the side skirts and the front lip are snap fit onto the respective panels of the car, for instance.

Barry, I believe he just means the clear bra application. They just may have a different term in Singapore.

walau, you know how ah quite easy to take off one. cannot kanciong lah, slowly take off the side slats/vents then you see or from the bottom one also can. when you done call me we go eat bah kut teh on ballistier.

Haha thanks for all the replies. Specially from my Singaporean friends.

According to AUDI, the fins are a clip on. And you can access the clips by taking the bumper off.

That I shall do by this Fri.

Also by foiled I did mean 'clear bra'.
