New PPI Razor LM24 Front Hood

PPI just sent me details of their new paintable front hood in carbon fibre with 'power dome' but without the vent from the LM car for the radiator outlets.

So it's a fake, not even taking in air... Not worth the money, especially seeing how it works for many forum members here... they buy something or a bunch of things for their car for outrageous sums only to get rid of the stuff at rock bottom prices months later when they get "bored" (or bankrupt) and sell their car for insane losses.

So $5,828 US dollars?? You sure about that? For this hood in c.f.?!? There c.f. steering wheels can run that much! I can't imagine that big a piece of c.f selling for so little...

So nice! Don't see point in it being CF tho as
most people would have it painted to match the rest of the car. I appreciate cf is for weight saving but as far as I'm concerned all r8 cf is purley cosmetic. The R8 has electric seats and a huge battery for gods sake!

I did not get a pic attatchment with the newsletter. I imagine the cf is in a paintable state. The pic posted might NOT be the correct part.Newsletter states it has "Power dome"? and intercooler channels which I do not see happening here. Maybe Ian has the pic we are looking for. Nevertheless, how much weight savings could there be since the O.G. bonnet is aluminium. Benefits may come from the channel and if it indeed added downforce like a GT bonnet.(Yes the price mentioned is correct.
