New steering wheel, sneak peek!

Macarbon? Putting mine in tomorrow. Almost the same as yours but perforated leather and silver center. No R8 logo on the bottom? And what material are your grips? They seem too thick and furry to be alcantara.

Not MACarbon, but a small local company that does some very nice custom work for a lot of Lambo/Ferrari customers. They are not sponsors here, so I shouldn't mention their name. As far as I know, it should be alcantara, but I haven't actually seen it yet. Should arrive today.
As for R8 emblem, I will probably get one, but it certainly did not come with one originally. At least not on a 2010 MY. Did yours come with one, or did you have MacCarbon put one on for you? If memory serves correct, they only sell it in a piano black finish?

Nice steering wheel! That will look nice and complement your already nice R8. That is the size ring that I should have had mine done in.

Of course you know a new steering wheel needs to be broken in? Oh yes, very important. For six weeks after install you can't exceed 4500 rpm in order for the wheel to acquire its proper 'set'!

I think they do. It's just, you have to pick the right "base" wheel for them to work on. I was just having this mini PM convo with NVRL8R8 a few minutes ago coincidentally.

If you want the more aggressive flat-bottom and top, you need to work it off an RS6 or TTRS or similar wheel. All the examples MaCarbon has are based off of the stock R8/A3 wheel, hence why the carbon doesn't extend as far as the one by the OP.
