Not quite the reaction of my neighbors!! I get the "we always know when you are taking the R8 to work at 6am" accompanied by a forced smile!

I don't know how to respond to all these plaudits. "You're Welcome" seems insufficient for such praise. You guys are truly special friends, and I am proud be associated with you! As swansailor says, "R8 owners are the nicest people!"

That looks like it was so much fun. A trip like this is certainly one of the top things I have to do on my bucket list!

Wow, Don, you're getting really quick!

And smooth. That second day at Laguna you were really in the zone, tracking out nice and wide, braking late and straight, and back on it really fast. Didn't see any ealy turn-ins, very consistent. All those laps were in the 1:40s too, and I didn't know that was possible in the V8.

Thank you for watching and your positive comments. The best time I recorded was 1:45...once, but not on the shared videos. I have many 1:46-1:49 times. It was amazing how little traffic there was at the Laguna Seca event.

Thunderhill and Laguna reigned supreme to me! So very much fun. I'm ready to do it again next year!
Darned GT just left us in the dust up the hills, didn't it. We need to add about 500 lbs to that white beast and stick despy back on street tires.

That and take away Desperado's driving skills. He humbles me with his skills. The combination of a fast car and great driving skills coupled with nerves of steel lead one to be quick.
