No it was a custom grille done by Kindig-it-design in Utah ... they did a great job fabricating it!

It's a custom mixed color I picked out. We played around with a bunch of colors until I got what I wanted (we call it Bad Ass Tomato ;-)) ... I really liked the Aventador color so it is some what close to that but I wanted a stronger hot red base. It has some gold as part of the tri-coat which in the sun looks amazing as you get gold highlights which really brings out the awesome curves of the R8 (the paint flop) and as you move down from the light you get a pretty strong red (the base is called Torch Red). I'm thrilled with final paint color, in person it's very striking yet still classy ...

Lots of bottle to respray a limited edition car like this. Theres a reason most millionaires only wrap veyrons, f40s, enzos etc. But the result is amazing! Truly a one of a kind car!

This is one of the best custom colors I have seen on an R8! The shop did a fantastic job on this project for you. We cant wait to hear your feedback on the STaSIS supercharger system once its completed.

First Post ... So I just finished customizing my New R8 GT. I had the work done at a custom shop called Kindig-it-Design (http://www.kindigit.com/). They did a custom better than factory paint job in a color we like to call Bad A$$ Tomato. I have Custom Carbon Fiber Look Wheels to match my Carbon Fiber Blades and Wing on my R8 GT. I also got a new GT Stasis Super Charger put in this beast and now have nearly 780 HP ... and yeah it is as crazy as one might imagine. Also I should mention that Kindig-it-Design in SLC Utah built a custom Grill for me (not a big fan of the stock version) ... it turned out killer (so clean).

Let me know what you think of my custom R8 GT ...
