More than half of these are HDRIs.

Shot in New Orleans. Our graves are all above-ground. I'm sure most of you know why.

Some explanation; 'Lone Italian' isn't referring to the car, but rather the tree- an Italian Cypress. 'Sicilian Sentinel' was named because that stretch of road in the cemetery holds exclusively Italian grave sites.
'Replacing Anubis'- Anubis is the guardian of the dead. Figured he's been around for a while- time to give the R8 a shot. It's intimidating enough, I think.

Usually for a photoshoot, I narrow a series down to 5-8 photos to process and display on my website. I spent the better part of two days undecided about which of the 315 total images to exclude. So after narrowing it down to nineteen images, I decided to exclude nothing.
There are one or two I'm unsure about, and might remove from the series. But overall I am quite happy with the results.

Shooting with a Canon 40D. Lenses used here are the 10-22mm ultra wide angle and the 70-200mm f/4 L telephoto, both Canon. Both lenses have circular polarizers. All colors achieved in Photoshop.

    Hope you dig 'em too.

Spectacular images. Besides having great Canon gear, the most important thing is what is 12 inches behind the camera. You have a great eye!

Thanks! Though, I have to give credit to the car too; I photographed it for three hours and there's not a bad angle on the thing.

Well, I have the car and good equipments (I shoot with a 1D3, 70-200 F2.8 and 16-35 F2.8 II) but I just don't have the eye nor the photoshop skills. You can sell the pics to make $$$ while I spend money to take the photos.

Haha, well true. But I think you're better off rocking the 1D3. I'll be upgrading to the 5D mk2 when that eventually comes out; the 40D is a hold-me-over until then.

You know what's absolutely ridiculous? Only after the shoot was over and I was reviewing the photos did I realize I didn't take any interiors or closeups. I think I must've been so entranced by how spectacular it looked in person, I focused all my time on capturing that aspect. Which I regret- I wish I had some interiors as well. Sorry.
