First Audi R8 with Carbon Fiber wheels!

Apparently so, and it is only the center spider, not the rim. If you look carefully at the closeup photo above, it is a chrome or polished wheel rim.

Still, it is a beautiful wheel.

What color rim do you guys think would look best with my car? (Ibis White / CF Blades) I'm thinking maybe titanium paint like the stock wheel, or perhaps a dark-tinted chrome?

I think the dark chrome / graphitish color might be killer. Do it!

Hey guys - That car is actually my car. The rims are Titanium with Carbon Fiber overlay. They are 20's ... They are from 360 forged, I changed the center cap to the Audi cap. The original rims that came from 360 had the spokes wrapped in carbon fiber and the newer rims that they are doing is an overlay.

They are still pretty impressive and a bit lighter than stock. The ride is pretty much the same. There is less rubber, but still a good ride...

Let me know if you have any questions. I have had them for a while and still get pretty good reviews. It matches the blade just perfect..

I'm actually looking into buying these wheels this week but in 19"'s (360Forged).... I live in NY and I'm nervous about bending the rims with less rubber (on the 20's).

What size tires are you running on those wheels? I'm wondering if you can get by with running 305/30 20" in the rear... (the 19" wheel tire size is 305/30 19") - the overall diameter will be larger by 1". Thanks in advance.

For 20" wheels you drop to the next smaller series. 305/25 20" and similar drop in series for the front.

I did. I was just asking whether the R8 will accommodate 295 or 305/30-20 tires... The 305/25-20 sidewall is thinner which is why I would like to use the 295/30-20 sized tires... Yes, with the understanding that the overall diameter will be slightly bigger and speedometer will be off by 4% or so. But with the thicker tire it will be less likely to bend the rim. I did something similar on my SL55 AMG where i replaced the rear 275/30-19 with 295/30-20's. The bigger tire actually filled the wheel gap a little better and looked more massive. The question is whether the R8 accommodates the bigger tire - sometimes you can get rubbing on the suspension arm or the inner wheel well.....
