The "Jet" has landed

R8 Brethren,

It came in last week. After 5 months of waiting--not counting the 27 years of dreaming! Note the custom "Magnolia" interior. I wasn't expecting the "Audi Exclusive" badge to be sewn into the leather. Pretty sweet. It's no fun to keep clean but it feels very refined in the ****pit. I have Carbon Fiber Mirrors on the way. Enjoy!

Con grats!! My jet landed a few months ago, but I still peek into garage every time I pass the door.Just to admire her for a second before I fall asleep. My girlfreind thinks I just went to pee!! Any weight savings on the C.F. mirrrors? Are they the mirror covers? are you getting the pods? The covers would be easy to stick on.The pods would need the door panels removed to install.Have you seen my Jet? It's in gallery.I have chosen not to do the mirrors carbon as I have too much carbon on the car already.Can't wait to see the mirrors installed!! Thanks Brother. Where is M.F.? Try to get the air lid with windows.When it comes time to change the air filters you can replace filters with better ones thst can be seen through the windows. That extra touch for your awesome bay!!

Love it. The carbon mirrors will work perfectly with the cf blades. Did you go for high gloss alloys? (one of the options I'm most pleased with) And is the body standard Jet Blue or an Audi Exclusive colour? I'll post photos of my Exclusive cognac interior when I get a chance.

Thanks Harrison! Yeah--checked out your gallery a few weeks ago. Love it---you mentioned having a CF steering wheel? I'm having MAcarbon doing the mirrors---just the shells. He was meticulous about matching the carbon pattern of the sideblades. Send PIC of your air-filter not sure I understand? (MF are my initials not the where I am from---I'm currently in Indianapolis, IN)

Would love to see COGNAC color. Yes, they are the high gloss alloys---a must for sure! Jet Blue is a standard exterior color albeit somewhat unusual. Most I have seen have been black or silver. The interior is all Audi Exclusive---"Magnolia" a sort of bone-colored white.
