the one marshall started running away from the fence and almost ran in front of the car, bet he needs to go home and change now

I was there, racing in the Elise Trophy. The circuit went very quiet when that happened, and the remains of the car were dumped nearly in front of me in the paddock. Quite a relief that no one was seriously hurt. Very odd place to go off, and I believe its the first time someone has jumped the fence at that point. I was also racing there last year when, tragically, Henry Surtees was killed
