R8 Spyder and R8 Coupe

Received my new coupe this week. More head and leg room, less freedom. I love them both and will miss the Spyder when its gone. Thought I'd take a few pics of them together. As a refresher, I decided to replace the Spyder after challenges with headroom in the soft top version (I'm just under 6'6" tall). I'm amazed how much leg room the coupe offers for tall drivers.

Same color combo (black/black with titanium finish alloy wheels). The only difference is the coupe has the CF side blade which I've found to be very subtle when paired with a black exterior.

I've put the R8 Spyder up for sale. If I get what I think is a fair price over the next few weeks, I will sell it now. Otherwise, I will hold onto it a few months and put some fun filled miles on it on days I can have the top down (and thus no headroom issues). Then I'll sell it expecting to take a bit larger of a hit but minor compared to what I've already probably taken.

Has anyone seriously inquired about your Spyder yet? You've done a good job of offering it for sale because I've seen it more than once. Suggestion: Put in the original MSRP in the ad so that potential buyers will know what they are getting for your asking price. Good luck and I hope you don't get burned too badly.

Thanks for the tip. It looks like I've got it sold, just working out the paperwork. I had a lot of interest with several good offers. Very sad to see it go, but after driving the Coupe a bit I realized just how tight I was in the Spyder (not only headroom, but also legroom). If they ever find a way to get more room in the cabin, I will very likely buy another Spyder.
