Nürburgring-Nordschleife LP570 vs. R8 GT

I borrowed the link from one of the lambo boards. Interesting comparison between two very different but similar cars with the same placement in their model line. It was based on mostly an eval of the 570 and that info, I did not include. I have a 2012 570 SL on order. Never really considered the R8 GT. Seems like they are quite close, I guess as expected.

7:34 supports AMS's 7:37 ring time. the GTR remains the sole mystery car whose ring times only appear when nissan drives it. the latest is the 7:24 time video that nissan has posted around the net.

oh, and i love how the discussion on the lambo forum ended...or rather... never began since the post was placed yesterday. the lambo owners probably threw their keys at their computers and went to get drunk.

Well optioned the MSRP of the LP570 is north of $260K to $290K with ceramic brakes. I don't know what the R8 GT will be. Maybe some of the guys who have ordered can chime in.

I found 7.39 for the 430 Scud. I think it would be better to compare both to the 458. My current older superleggera was built to match up against the Scuderia. From what I have seen, the LP570 and 458 have similar performance windows but angry arguments will break out over the details.

R8 GT with all the options in the USA comes it at a tick below 250K.

I plan on selling it... I checked the resale and all in all I am really not going to lose too much even if I have to turn it in to the dealer. I am definitely taking off the ADV.1's though. I think the brushed gunmetal will look great next to the suzuka.
